DETECTING DEVICE OF SHIFT DEGREE

PURPOSE:To always assure a shift even for driving with a monitor signal, by deciding either one detection mode of a pulse signal in response to the initial state of a monitor signal source. CONSTITUTION:A monitor signal is generated from a sliding scan of a brush 4 on a conductor pattern 5. The initial state of this signal generation is detected by an exclusive OR gate 10 and a flip-flop 8. Then the output state deciding mode of the monitor signal is switched to an initial state mode by a counter 11 to prevent the detecting operation to the first output state change of the monitor signal. Then the output state is detected at and after the second change. Thus it is always possible to assure a shift of a prescribed object even in a single monitor signal driving state.
