MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve considerably the clogging of a head by forming a magnetic thin film on the one surface of a nonmagnetic substrate and forming a resin film contg. pulverized powder consisting essentially of tin oxide on the other surface. CONSTITUTION:A resin film contg. pulverized powder consisting essentially of tin oxide is formed on the surface of a nonmagnetic substrate opposite to the surface formed with a ferromagnetic thin metallic film. The pulverized powder consisting essentially of tin oxide is added at 10-500pts.wt., more preferably 50-400pts.wt. basing on 100pts.wt. resin component. The thickness of the resin film is preferably 0.1-1mum. The pulverized powder consisting essentially of tin oxide is the powder having 0.01-0.5mum grain sizes consisting of oxides of tin such as SnO, SnO2 or the like or these oxides incorporated with 0.1-20% indium oxide, antimony oxide, or the like.
