PURPOSE:To use a peripheral device of a programming device to the terminal of an arithmetic controller, by providing a peripheral device control request accepting device in the programming device and a peripheral controller to the arithmetic controller, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A CPU2a of an arithmetic controller 2' of stored program system delivers a CRT employing request R to a main body PP1a' of a programming device 1' through a controller CT2d for peripheral controller provided within an interface part 2c'. When a peripheral controller request accepting device 1e in the main body PP1a' detects the request R, the PP1a' displays a message showing that the request R is fed to a CRT display 1d. Looking at the message, an operator sends an answer signal A to the CPU2a through the CT2d from the PP1a'. The display 1d is started after the CPU2a transmits a command M for CRT display. Then a data D on the CRT display contents is transferred between the PP1a' and the CPU2a and displayed to the CRT. When the processing is over, a processing end signal E is transmitted to the CPU2a from the PP1a'. |
