PURPOSE:To quickly and surely remove water drops which adhere on the surface of a mirror by providing a ultrasonic wave generator inside a housing which supports the mirror via a holder and properly vibrating the mirror by means of the generator. CONSTITUTION:A mirror 1 having a convex surface 1a is held by having its circular circumference engaged with the internal groove 2a on the external periphery of a holder 2, and the external periphery of the holder 2 is supported by the internal peripheral face of a housing 3. A ultrasonic wave generator 5 is mounted in a vacancy 4 inside the housing 3. One end of the generator 5 is connected to one 6a of opposed electrodes 6f a ultrasonic oscillator 6 stuck to the back face of the mirror 1, while the other end is connected to an automotive battery 8 via a power supply switch 7. By properly operating the ultrasonic wave generator 5 to have the mirror 1 make ultrasonic vibration, water drops adhering on the convex surface 1a of the mirror 1 may be removed quickly and surely. |
