PURPOSE:To improve assembly workability of a shock absorber, in which harness for electrical equipment parts is inserted through a wiring hole provided to a rod in the axial direction, by constituting a socket part in a rod end and disconnectably mounting a connector in a power source side. CONSTITUTION:A connector accepting hole 11 is formed to an end part of a rod 2 equipped with a wiring hole 3, through which harness 4 for electrical equipment parts is inserted, in the axial direction, and a positioning groove 12 is formed to one side of an opening end of this accepting hole 11. While a protrusion 5A engaged to the positioning groove 12 is protrusively provided to an optional position in the external face of a connector 5a in a rod side harness terminal end fitted to the accepting hole 11, and the connector 5a is fixed to be positioned, then a socket part 10 is formed. On the other hand, a protrusion 13 engaged to the positioning groove 12 is protrusively provided also to an optional position in the external face of a connector 5b in a power source side, and the wrong plugging is prevented while a connector hold cap 14 coating a connection part to the socket part 10 is mounted to the connector 5b. |
