PURPOSE:To obtain the count value with high accuracy, by reflecting an object to be counted in a proper frequency on the inner surface of a reflector set in a planar square form with no gap and different optical paths and then receiving the reflected light by a photodetector. CONSTITUTION:Reflectors 1 and 2 which are bent rectangularly are set in a planar square form in which mirror pieces 1a and 1b are orthogonal to mirror pieces 2a and 2b respectively. The reflector 2 can be spaced freely from the reflector 1. An incident port 3 is provided between pieces 1a and 2a of reflectors 1 and 2; while a photodetecting port 4 is provided between the pieces 1b and 2b respectively. If an object to be counted is large, the reflector 2 is separated from the reflector 1 in accordance with the size of the counting object. Then the calibers of both ports 3 and 4 are increased. Then the object to be counted falls across emitting flash of lightning which reflects between reflectors 1 and 2 vertically and horizontally and in a proper frequency. Then a photodetector RS receives the light having a large variation of light volume. |
