PURPOSE:To supply the low temperature open air to an engine through a simple constitution so as to enhance the performance of an engine, by forming an aperture in an engine hood, an air feed inlet in an air spoiler mounted on the upper surface of the engine hood, and connecting the aperture to the suction system passage of the engine. CONSTITUTION:An air spoiler 1 is mounted on the upper surface of an engine hood 2, and is located approximately right above the suction system of an engine 3, e.g., a carbureter 4, the front end thereof being rotatably mounted on the engine hood 2 by means of a hinge 5. In which case, an air feed inlet 7 is formed in the rear side of the air spoiler 1, and an aperture 8 is provided on the engine hood 2 side, a sheet member 9 engages with the edge of the aperture 8, an air cleaner element 11 is attached to the sheet member 9, and the aperture 8 is connected to a suction system passage 4a. This feeds the low temperature open air to the engine 3 through the air spoiler 1 to improve the engine performance. |
