PURPOSE:To make a tape feeding means simple-constitution and ensure the tape feeding operation, by using a mechanism where a rotary material is connected to the tape feeding means. CONSTITUTION:A rugged groove 14 is formed on the lower face of a lower flange 13 of a supply reel 8, and a rugged groove 15 to be engaged with the rugged groove 14 is formed in a prescribed position of a lower half 2 corresponding to that position of the rugged groove 14 of the lower flange 13. The supply reel 8 is charged to the side of the lower half 2 by the action of a flat spring 16 of an upper half 1, and rugged grooves 14 and 15 are engaged with each other to fix the supply reel 8, and loosening of a magnetic tape wound around the supply reel 8 is prevented. When a small-sized cassette A is set to a recorder and reproducer, the supply reel 8 is lifted to the side of the half 1 by a prescribed quantity against the repulsive force of the flat spring 16 by a supply reel disc 26 of the recorder and reproducer, and rugged grooves 14 and 15 are disengaged from each other, and the supply reel 8 can be turned. |
