PURPOSE:To make it possible to spread a fire securely to individual burners independently of each other by a method wherein a fire spreading guide for guiding a part of a gas mixture released from one of the main burners to a position near the flame on a pilot burner. CONSTITUTION:The gas burner is formed of two rod-like main burners 1 and 2 which are arranged parallel to each other, the pilot burner 3 arranged near a flame port on the side of an inlet port of the main burner 2 and the fire spreading guide 4 arranged at the upper parts of the main burners 1 and 2. Consequently, even in case where the main burner 2 near the pilot burner 3 runs out of order and becomes unable to burn, a part of the gas mixture released from the flame port of the main burner 1 which is remote from the pilot burner 3 is guided by the fire spreading guide 4 to reach near the flame on the pilot burner so that that part of the gas mixture is ignited to thereby ignite the main burner 1. Accordingly, it is made possible to spread fire securely to the indivudial main burners independently of each other. |
