A sprocket gear assembly comprising a sheet metal element in the form of a cup-shaped sprocket wheel having teeth 22; 54 formed from the sheet metal on an annular outer portion and with a central hub 16; 62 having splines 26; 68 formed therein, whereby the hub and outer portion are separated by a radial flange 18, 34; 58, 64 on each side of the sprocket assembly. The radial flange 18; 58 is on one side integral with the annular outer portion, and the hub 16 may either be integral therewith and secured to a disc forming the other radial flange 34, or the hub 62 may be integral with the other radial flange 64 and secured to said one radial flange 58, with the other radial flange 64 welded to the annular outer portion. <IMAGE> |
