The dispensing device can discharge pourable material from a closed space by a gas at raised pressure. A mantle encases the material tank and includes a piercing needle (10) for opening the tank. An actuating mechanism is connected with the material tank orifice. In the operable state, a passage connects the inner space of the gas holder and the tank space. In the inoperable state a closing element shuts off the passage. A seat, transverse to the longitudinal line of the channel forming the passage receives an elastically deformable end piece, to which an actuating handle is connected.
