PURPOSE:To improve processing and assembling works and to obtain high filtering capacity, by forming a porous member having an engaging hole and tightly engaging an ink supply tube with said engaging hole to connect both of the filter and said tube. CONSTITUTION:A filter 16 comprises a porous member molded using a sintered alloy material or a porous resin material and a bottomed engaging hole 16a is provided to the filter 16 at the time of molding and an ink supply tube 15 is tightly engaged with said hole 16a to be connected to the filter 16. When an electric pulse is applied to a piezoelectric element 10 from an information signal source 19, the piezoelectric element 10 is deformed to reduce the volume of a nozzle pipe 11 and ink particles 6 are injected from a nozzle orifice 13. When the volume in the nozzle pipe 11 is restored, the internal pressure of the nozzle pipe 11 becomes negative to introduce the ink 17 in an ink chamber 14 into the in supply tube 15 through the filter 16 and the nozzle pipe 11 is replenished with the ink 17 but, because the introduction of the ink 17 is performed from the wide outer peripheral surface of the filter 16 toward the bottom part of the engaging hole 16a through the open pores in the filter 16, a filtering area becomes wide and ink passing resistance is reduced and high filtering capacity is obtained. |
