PURPOSE:To display sufficiently the performance of a machine, and also to prevent occurring of a fault, by providing a machine which is capable of press working by making a press machine always execute an up-and-down reciprocating motion without stopping it once in the top dead center. CONSTITUTION:A work 4 is inserted between punch and die parts 2a, 3a by a horizontal operation of a feed bar 5, the upper die part 2a is lowered, a supporting member 8 is depressed by a depressing body 11, the feed bar 5 and the work 4 are lowered, and the work 4 is supplied to the lower die part 3a. When the upper die part 2a is further lowered, a projecting part of the feed bar 5 is detached from the work 4, the feed bar 5 can be pulled back, is pulled back in the direction C, and also the work 4 is subjected to press working by the upper die and lower die parts 2a, 3a. Subsequently, when the upper die part 2a is lifted, the feed bar 5 is lifted by an elastic member 7, the following work 4 is raised, and the same operation is repeated continuously. By using such a mechanism, a press machine can be made to execute an up-and-down reciprocating motion at all times without stopping it once in the top dead center. |
