PURPOSE:To operate a press machine without stopping it once in the top dead center, by holding a work by a receiving board of a work holding device and a clamping member, rocking and reversing the work holding device, and feeding the work onto the press machine. CONSTITUTION:In case of trimming of a work 2, the work 2 is fed onto a guide member 18, and its rear end part is made to pressed with a stopper 17. Subsequently, a clamping member 5 is rocked in the direction D by a cylinder 6, and the work 2 is held by said member and the receiving board 4. Also, the work 2 is rocked and reversed to a position (b) in the direction A around an axial core 11 together with the receiving board 4 and the cylinder 6. In this state, when the cylinder 6 is contracted and the clamping member 5 is rocked in the direction C, the work 2 drops down to a regular position in a die of a press machine 1, in a reversion attitude. Subsequently, a work holding device 7 is rocked in the direction B around the axial core 11, and the following work 2 is held. In this way, the work can be fed easily and securely. |
