PURPOSE:To eliminate a space required for a lever mechanism and simplify constitution, by varying the hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic cylinder by means of an electromagnetic valve mechanism to control a spill ring which controls overflow of fuel. CONSTITUTION:A spill ring 29 acting as a piston is provided in a hydraulic cylinder 30. A hydraulic pressure chamber 33 in the hydraulic cylinder 30 is communicated through a passage 34 to a fuel tank. The passage 34 is opened and closed by means of a valve member 35. When the valve member 35 is in open position, fuel pressure P is applied on the spill ring 29 to rightwardly move same against a spring 31, thereby increasing an effective stroke (a) of the piston. |
