EXAMPLE:Perfluoro-2-azatricyclo[6,2,1,0<2>,<6>]undecane. USE:A blood substitute, or transfusion for transporting oxygen. PROCESS:For example, an electrolytic cell is charged with anhydrous hydrofluoric acid, and a very small amount of impurities is removed by preliminary electrolysis. 2-Azatricyclo[6,2,1,0<2>,<6>]undecane, etc. is added to anhydrous hydrofluoric acid, dissolved in it, and electrolysis is carried out with introducing helium gas into it at 7-12 deg.C bath temperature. The solution is separated into a hydrofluoric acid layer and a fluorocarbon layer. The hydrofluoric acid layer is separated from the fluorocarbon layer, an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide and diisobutylamine, etc. are added to the fluorocarbon layer, which is refluxed, and a compound shown by the formula is obtained from the lowest layer.
