Double-glazing without extra frames - has rotating clips holding second glazing to existing frame

The second superimposed glazing (1) is fixed away from the usual first glazing to form a sealed double glazing imprisoning a cushion of air. The second glazing is cut to suit the opening chassis frame (2) and sash bars (4). The second glazing is bedded in the usual frame recess so that its exterior face is flush to the frame and is held by clips (10,12,15) that can be unfastened. The rotating clips have right angle extensions allowing them to be moved between a position holding the second glazing and a position freeing the glazing.
