PURPOSE:To secure such a roller as being low in hardness and excellent in conductivity, besides nonstickly as well as to make a clean-cut picture securable, by compounding a proper amount of plasticizer and carbon black into specific base rubber available for printing rollers of a facsimile. CONSTITUTION:This roller is produced by the way of covering a rubber composition, whose main ingredient consists of norbon polymer 100pts.wt. plasticizer 100-250pts.wt. and carbon black 30-150pts.wt., over a roll core shaft, then heating and bridging it. In addition, these components are well mixed and kneaded by a Banbury mixer or a kneader, and made up in a sheetlike form carrying a thickness of 5-10mm. or so by means of an oven roll. After the roll core shaft is covered with this sheetlike compound, it is heated for 20-40min long at a temperature of 130-160 deg.C as well as at a pressure of 100-150kg/cm<2> by using a metal mold and bridged. After doing like this, with the bridged one well ground to the extent of the specified size, a low hardness conductive rubber roller can be secured. |
