PURPOSE:To prevent an oil seal from going out and oil from changing into mist, by connecting a space defined between the oil seal and the sealed shaft section of an oil pump, to the intake passage of the pump through an oil escape hole. CONSTITUTION:A space 16 defined between an oil seal 15 and a sealed shaft section 14 is connected to the intake passage 18 of an oil pump 4 through an oil escape hole 17. The intake passage 18 comprises a suction pipe 12 and an intake chamber 9 into which the oil escape hole 17 is opened. Even if high- pressure oil leaks out of the discharge chamber 11 of the oil pump 4 or out of the like into the space 16 through the sealed shaft section 14, the oil is conducted out of the space through the oil escape hole 17. |
