Mixtures of sparingly water-soluble azo dyes containing from 10 to 90 mol per cent of a dye or a mixture of dyes of the formula I <IMAGE> where A is the radical of a diazo component customary in disperse dyes, R1 is hydrogen or optionally substituted alkyl or alkoxy, R2 is optionally further substituted formyloxyalkyl, R3 is optionally substituted alkyl, and R4 is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, alkyl, alkoxy or acylamino, and 90 to 10 mol per cent of another dye of the formula II <IMAGE> where A, R1, R3 and R4 are each as defined in the formula I, and R5 is an optionally further substituted acyloxyalkyl radical, subject to the proviso that the substituents in the molecules of formulae I and II are only those that are customary in the chemistry of disperse dyes and that aside from formyloxy only a single acyloxy radical is present in the radicals R2, R3 and R5, are used as disperse dyes for dyeing hydrophobic fibre material, whether synthetic or cellulosic.
