PURPOSE:To prevent a formed article from retracting to the outer surface of a trim, by forming a notch in the front part of a support member attached to one end of the formed article spaced from an attachment panel, which is inserted to the edge of an opening formed in the above-mentioned attachment panel. CONSTITUTION:The front end of the supporting part 3 of a formed article 1 is inserted in the opening part J of a quater panel E as indicated by the phantom line, and thereafter, the edge of the opening J is positioned in a notch 8A formed in an engaging piece 7A of the supporting part 3. Then, the formed article 1 is moved from the position indicated by the phantom line in the direction of the arrow X, and is positioned in a position indicated by the solid line, where the attachment leg 2 of the formed article 1 is secured to the panel E by means of attachment screws G. At this stage, the edge of the opening J is engaged with the notch 8A, causing a predetermined space between the formed article 1 and the quater panel E to be surely held. |
