The invention relates to appliances of the "diesel fuel filter anti-waxing" type allowing all diesel engines to be started in cold winter weather. It comprises a ring-shaped spacer for a petroleum product 19, an upper opening closed by the diesel fuel filter 20, a lower opening closed by a base 21. The internal element 23, a 12-volt 10-amp heating resistance element, heats the diesel fuel from the tank and the diesel fuel filter to 68 DEG C, controlled thermostatically by the silicon sensor 27 with positive temperature coefficient, associated with an electronic relay control (outside the tank), preventing thermal fluctuations. Among the applications of the invention we mention anti-waxing of Roto-Diesel, Purflux, diesel fuel filters, without main modification to the original filter. <IMAGE>
