Method and device for watching over a sprung brake actuator with an axial revolving piston (1), affected by a spring package (2) and a fluid pressure in a chamber (6) has a sensor (3) and a master (4) for activation of the sensor. With help of the sensor (3) the condition of the brake actuator as well as the spring package (2) can be monitored. Monitoring occurs through pressure in the brake fluid being measured in a determined area, when the spring package (2) is pressed together from a disengaged condition to a compressed condition, which corresponds to disengaged brakes, and the measured pressure is compared with a fluid pressure interval, within which the pressure for pressing together of a fault-free spring packet (2) lies.<IMAGE> |
