PURPOSE:To prevent deformation or damage of a front spoiler upon slight collision at the front of a vehicle, by extending the armature of a front bumper downwards, and as well, by providing the front spoiler at the front surface of the thus obtained extended part. CONSTITUTION:A front bumper body 1 is attached to a front support member 7 through a shock absorber 4. The armature 2 of the bumper body 1 is extended downward with its base plate 2a and a back plate 2b being overlapped together, a front spoiler 2b is provided at the front surface of the thus obtained extended part 1. Further, the projecting distance 12 of the spoiler 8 is set to be less than the projecting distance 11 of the armature 2. Accordingly, even if a bumper face 3 is elastically deformed until it abuts against the front surface of the armature 2 upon collision at the front of a vehicle, the object never interferes with the spoiler 8. |
