Hub for a spoked wheel of the type which is preferably intended for a wheel-chair and comprises a tubular central part 1 with a flange 2 arranged at each end for attachment of spokes. The hub has been designed with a view to it being possible to manufacture it by injection-moulding a plastic material using simple inexpensive tools. According to the invention, the hub is characterized in that the central part is composed of two parts 6, 7 which have, extending around them, engagement surfaces 8, 9, 10 which interact with one another. One part 6 of the hub has fingers 11, extending internally into the other part, with snap-in portions 12 which can be received in recesses in the other part. The fingers are axially directed and are also partly received in corresponding axial grooves in the other part, by virtue of which relative rotation between the parts is prevented. Furthermore, the fingers are prevented from yielding inwards out of engagement with the other part by interaction with a spindle 3 guided through the hub. <IMAGE> |
