摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a compsn. for sliding materials, which has excellent resistance to wear and heat, moldability, curability, etc., by mixing carbon fiber, a copolymer contg. isopropenylphenol as a component and hexamethylenetetramine in a specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION:1-50wt% carbon fiber (A), 5-50wt% copolymer (B) of isopropenylphenol with at least one monomer copolymerizable therewith, such as styrene, methyl acrylate, acrylonitrile or butadiene, and 3-30wt% (based on the amount of component B) hexamethylenetetramine are mixed together to obtain the desired compsn. for sliding materials. Examples of component B are copolymers consisting of structural units of formulas I , II and III, pref. 15-40wt% structural unit I , 15-80wt% structural unit II and 1-60wt% structural unit III.</p>
