In a friction clutch with a pressure plate which is articulated in a manner fixed in terms of rotation but allowing axial displacement on a clutch housing by means of leaf springs by the provision of a rivet connection between the leaf springs and the pressure plate, the rivet elements required for the articulation of the leaf springs on the pressure plate are formed by spigots formed integrally on the pressure plate. By virtue of this measure, economical and considerably simplified assembly is possible.
