PURPOSE:To use a circuit element through a time division, and to realize a number of functions by the same chip-size by controlling a logical gate according to the contents of a memory cell set up separately and changing functions. CONSTITUTION:DATA 1 or DATA 2 are latched in a rise of a terminal CL in a cell 500. A functional mode of a cell 600 changes by the data latched. When the cell 500 and the cell 600 are brought to the state in which they are not connected, two are combined and can be used as D flip-flops in the D-latch of sections which need not be brought to programmable states. Logics are assembled in a hard manner in an IC, and the types of the gates can also be controlled by the result. For constitute the D flip-flop by using the cell 500, A or A' of the cells on the lower side is connected to the DATA 2 of the cells on the upper side, and B or B' may be used as a Q output terminal. |
