PURPOSE:To select directly a receivable station with a swith corresponding to a display by displaying receivable stations of a respective bands of a radio after automatic tuning. CONSTITUTION:When an indication signal for the lowest frequency of a channel selection band is outputted from a control 2 to a frequency control 3 by an input from a display and console panel part 1, the frequency control 3 sets a reception frequency of a tuner 5 and a signal from an IF amplifier 6 is detected by a detecting circuit 10 to judge whether reception is possible or not, sending a signal to the control 2. When the reception is possible, the control 2 stores its frequency in a memory 4 and performs similar operation for succeeding frequencies until a scan on all channels is completed, thereby turning on displays on the console panel 1 corresponding to the frequencies of stations stored in the memory 4. An operator presses a switch corresponding to a desired display to set the corresponding frequency in the memory 4 to the frequency control 3, starting the reception. |
