PURPOSE:To improve the performance, by joining a back core part consisting of a ferrite magnetic material to a front core part formed by laminating a composite body of a non-magnetic material and a ferrite magnetic material on both sides of a metallic magnetic material having a magnetic gap. CONSTITUTION:A non-magnetic substrate 12 is made to adhere onto a ferrite magnetic substrate 13, by which the first block 18 is formed, and thereafter, it is cut by necessary width along a two point chain line, by which a composite body 14 is formed. Subsequently, the second block 19 formed by laminating and combining alternately the composite body and a metallic magnetic material 11 is cut by the center part, and two block half bodies 20, 21 are formed. Subsequently, a corner 20a of the ferrite magnetic material 13 side of the block half body 20 is cut off, and thereafter, two block half bodies 20, 21 are joined, and a front block on which a magnetic gap (g) is formed is obtained. Subsequently, a back core block 24 consisting of a ferrite material is joined as one body to a front core block 22, and is cut along a two point chain line 25. In this way, the performance of a magnetic head can be improved. |
