A screw attachment for steering rollers on waste containers provides for at least two attachment screws (7) which are arranged spaced apart in a mounting plate (6), are to be inserted through attachment holes (5) arranged correspondingly in the container bottom (2') and onto which a roller attachment plate (3) provided with corresponding insertion holes (3') is to be fitted and then corresponding attachment nuts (8) are to be screwed. In order to be able to carry out such a screw attachment solely from the outside, the attachment holes (5) in the container bottom (2') have a keyhole profile (5'), (5"), while the mounting plate is constructed as an expanding plate (6) and the attachment screws (7), held therein with axial friction fit, have a polygonal profile (7") between the head (7') and the threaded shank (7"'). When the screw heads (7') have been inserted through the keyholes (5) and the mounting plate (6) has subsequently been expanded, these polygonal profiles come into engagement securely against rotation and displacement with the relevant keyhole taper (5"). <IMAGE>
