PURPOSE:To eliminate the waiting time in the starting position for scanning by calculating the backward moving speed in the stage of scanning on the basis of the copying time predetermined according to the size of paper and driving a motor on the basis of the calculated value. CONSTITUTION:When the scale-down signal assigned by the operator is inputted through an input interface 11 to a signal processing part 1, the signal is processed in a CPU13, and the control signal corresponding to the scale-down is outputted from one of output ports P2-P4. A reference frequency signal and a time constant signal are outputted from a generation circuit 32 for a reference frequency and a multiplexer 33. On the other hand, when a paper size signal is inputted to the part 1, the control signal corresponding to said size is fed from one of ports P5-P7 to a control part 3, by which the backward moving speed in the stage of scanning is calculated on the basis of the copying time predetermined according to the size of the paper and a motor 2 is driven at said speed; therefore, the increase in the waiting time in the starting position for the scanning is prevented. |
