PURPOSE:To forecast quickly a load against variation of steep electric power total demand, by deriving a relative ratio from an actually measured electric power total demand and a value on a load forecasting curve, and deriving a load forecasting value by multiplying a value on the forecasting load curve of a future time to be forecast. CONSTITUTION:A load forecasting operation device 3 inputs an electric power total demand P of a present time point from an electric power system 1, and outputs a load forecasting value to an economic load distribution control device 4. A power plant 7 synthesizes a load forecasting value and a local request load by a synthesizer 5, and controls a generator 6 in accordance with a synthesized value. The load forecasting operating device 3 derives a relative ratio of an electric power total demand up to the present time point and a value on a load forecasting curve corresponding to said demand, and forecasts a load in the future time point by multiplying a value on the forecasting curve in the future time point to be forecast, by said relative ratio. |
