The invention relates to a large greenhouse consisting of flexible, spring steel rods as the supporting framework, which is covered with a film. To be able to cover large bed widths (up to about 10 m), without the costs for the supporting framework becoming too high, steel tension rods with a diameter of about 12 mm are surrounded by a simple steel tube which may have a wall thickness of 2-3.5 mm. <IMAGE>
