PURPOSE:To prevent reverse regeneration of ion exchange resins, by providing a separation regeneration tower for separating the cation and anion exchange resin in accordance with the difference of specific gravity. CONSTITUTION:The separation regeneration tower 3 receives the ion exchange resins sent from an ion exchange tower 1 through a delivery pipe 4. The tower 3 is designed so as to separate the resins up and down by using specific gravity difference. A mixed resin layer B is formed between both resin layers, A, C. The tower 3 is connected to the delivery pipe 5a of the anion exchange resin, that 5b of the mixed exchange resin, and that 5c of the cation exchange resin. The pipe 5a is connected to the lower part of the anion exchange resin layer A, the pipe 5b to the lower part of the layer B, and the pipe 5c of the lower part of the layer C. |
