PURPOSE:To correct the difference of the chrominance signal system, by taking the reproduction chrominance subcarrier frequency of the NTSC software as the frequency (4.43361875MHz) of the PAL system and inverting the R-Y component at each horizontal period for said chrominance signal, for attaining the reproduction of the NTSC software with a VTR of the PAL system. CONSTITUTION:The low frequency conversion chrome signal of the NTSC system where the phase is rotated by 90 deg. at each line and the direction of rotation differs at each field is inputted to an input terminal 1. A signal processing circuit from extending to an output of a comb line filter 7 is used in common with the PAL system the terminal except some part. The phase of burst is advanced by 45 deg. at the horizontal period where the R-Y component is inverted at the 3rd converter 4 and the phase of burst is delayed by 45 deg. at the period where no inversion is applied to the R-Y component. A chrominance signal obtained at the output of a burst replacing circuit 6 is applied to a YC mixer 8, and synthesized with a reproduction luminance signal, allowing to obtain the reproduced video signal not decolored on the PAL screen at an output terminal 9. |
