PURPOSE:To enable sure folding without being influenced by the change of plate thickness of covering metallic material of a covering metal enclosure by pivoting roll shafts to which folding rolls are attached to each of a fixed body and an oscillating body, and preventing floating and deviation of folding rolls. CONSTITUTION:The folding machine consists of plural groups of roll shafts 9, 9 pivoted to each of a fixed body 1 and an oscillatory body 2 that can oscillate freely and fixable, and folding rolls 12-15 that fold upper edge of a vertical thin plate and fixed to the lower end of the shafts 9. At least one of a main folding roll 12a and an axuiliary folding roll 12b out of a pair of folding rolls 12 is reduced in diameter as it goes downward. Worm wheels 16 are fixed to upper end of roll shafts 9, and left and right worm wheels 16 are engaged with worms 17 fixed to a shaft rod 3 pivoted to the center of oscillation. Then, the shaft rod 3 is driven by an electric motor. |
