HORIZONTAL CARRIER FOR SLIVER BOBBIN

PURPOSE:In a carrier for carrying sliver bobbin on a truck horizontally to predetermined position through a plurality of traversers, to facilitate displacement of traverser by moving the traversers through a screw shaft having pitch varying in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:It is provided with a plurality of traversers 62, 63 for taking out sliver bobbins of corresponding number with the sliver bobbin rows of a carry magagine 12 for suspending plural rows of sliver bobbins 15 in parallel in the longitudinal direction of a fine spinning machine from a truck 16 mounting a plurality of sliver bobbins 15 simultaneously and carrying horizontally over the elevating member 36 of a lifter 14. Here each traverser 62, 63 is moved along a pair of supporting rails 47 through rotation of a screw shaft 48 employing a reversible motor as the drive source. The screw shaft 48 is provided with grooves of different pitches at the elevating member side and the truck side 16 and the engage pins of each traverser are engaged in said grooves.
