PURPOSE:To reduce the deterioration in sound quality, by outputting a correct information sumbol having no error among the information symbols added with a correction flag as it is, and correcting the information symbol only in error for decreasing the amount of correction. CONSTITUTION:A block impossible for correction inputted from a recorder is added with the correction flag 26 to all the information symbols of the block and fed to a correction circuit 27. Further, the information sumbols 25 are compared with a prediction value from a correction value operation circuit 33 to discriminate whether or not it is the correct information symbol. A mean value formed with (n-1) and (n+1) is assumed as a prediction value H(n), when n-set of information symbols are within H+(n) and H-(n), the D(n) is outputted as it is, and when the symbols are not within H+(n) and H-(n), the information symbols are thrown away and the prediction value H(n) is outputted as the correction value. |
