PURPOSE:To reduce the production of smokednet, by a method wherein a small quantity of water is added to liquid fuel at the downstream side of a drip-proof valve, and oil and water are atomized and mixed by spraying air for combustion. CONSTITUTION:At the start of operation of a burner, an oil outlet valve seat 1 of a drip-proof valve is closed by a ball 13 by means of an oil pressure from a pressure line inlet 10. When a line system in a circulating circuit is heated to a set temperature, an oil circuit is set to combustion. Then, the oil in a pressure receiving part 14 of a pressure line is brought to zero resulting from operation of the controlling device of an oil line system, and a pressure receiving part 16 of a circulating line is increased in an oil pressure to open the oil outlet valve seat 1 of the drip-proof valve, resulting in causing the oil to flow to an oil water mixing chamber 3. Meanwhile, the water flows to the oil water mixing chamber 3 through a water feed inlet and a bored-through part 6 from a water feed line. Meanwhile, after passing an air inlet 19 and an air port 18, the air from an air line flows to an air contact part 2 togetherwith the oil in an air, water, and oil mixing flow path 22. The mixture oil of the air, water, and the oil passes the slit part of a swirler 20 after passing the mixing flow path 22, and is sprayed through spraying hole 23 in a nozzle cap 21. |
