PURPOSE:To provide a titled torch which decreases the sticking of spatter on the nozzle by rotating a nozzle at a high speed during welding, in the welding torch provided with the nozzle which sends a shielding gas to the periphery between the forward end part of a welding wire and materials to be welded. CONSTITUTION:This arc welding torch uses a revolving shaft of a motor 1 as a hollow revolving shaft 2, and is fitted and stuck with a shielding gas nozzle 3 consisting of a hollow pipe coaxial with the shaft 2 on one side thereof. The other end of the shaft 2 is positioned so as to face an opening part 8 enclosed with a connection edge 7 provided to the casing of the motor 1 via a bearing 11 having sealing property. A torch guide 10 contg. a welding wire 6 via an insulation material 5 and a conduit 9 serving as a passage for the shielding gas is screwed airtightly to the edge 7. The forward end of the conduit 9 extending through the part 8 into the shaft 2 is connected attachably and detachably to and from a conduit tip 4 in the nozzle 3. The nozzle 3 is rotated at a high speed by the motor 1 during arc welding whereby the sticking of spatters is decreased. |
