PURPOSE:To enable fish to be transferred without damage by providing a suction hole at the top position of a fish transfer tube whose both ends are immersed in partitioned water and allowing sea water to be sucked up by means of a negative pressure inside said fish transfer tube which is generated through said suction hole to effect siphonage. CONSTITUTION:When transferring the fishes caught by a net 4 from sea water surrounded by the net 4 to a fish tank 2 in a ship, which are separated by partitioning and are different in their water levels, a fish transfer tube 6 is provided with its suction-side opening 3 immersed in the sea water surrounded by the net 4 and the delivery side opening 1 immersed in the fish tank 2 respectively. Then, the suction side of piping of a vacuum pump 7 is connected to a suction hole 5 provided on the topmost position of the fish transfer tube 6 through a float valve 22 and a check valve 23. Negative pressure within the fish transfer tube 6 due to the operation of the vacuum pump 7 causes sea water to be sucked up, and when the float valve 22 operates, the vacuum pump 7 is stopped to operate. After that, fishes are transferred into the fish tank 2 together with sea water by means of siphonage. |
