PURPOSE:To efficiently produce the titled substances and use the substances as raw material compound for medicines, by reacting a microorganism belonging to the genus Aerobacterium or Aeromonas or a treated material thereof with validamycin or validoxylamine. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism, e.g. Agrobacterium radiobacter (ATCC 4718), Aeromonas hydrophila subsp. anaerogenes IFO13282, etc., belonging to the genuses Agrobacterium and Aeromonas and capable of producing an enzyme reactive with validamycin or validoxylamine to produce valineamine and validamine is cultivated to give microbial cells or treated materials thereof. The validamycin or validoxylamine which is a row material compound is brought into contact with the above-mentioned microbial cells, etc., to collect the aimed valienamine and validamine from the reaction solution by a well-known method. |
