PURPOSE:To fix filter paper to a filter frame stand simply, rapidly and strongly, by placing the filter paper on the step part of the frame stand and melting the frame stand while the peripheral protruded part thereof is pressed by a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A filter frame stand 1 is molded from a synthetic resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene. A step part 2 is formed to said frame stand 1 and a protruded part is formed to the peripheral edge of the step part 2. The step part 2 has a width of 0.3-1.5mm and the protruded part has a width of 0.2-0.5mm and a height of 0.5-1.3mm. Filter paper 7 is pref. made of a film provided with pores having a pore size of 0.2-0.5mum. The filter 7 is placed on the step part 2 of the frame stand 1 and a cylinder 8 is fallen at a speed of 5-15mm/sec. When the interval between the filter paper and the cylinder 8 reaches 1-3mm, the falling speed of the cylinder 8 is decreased to 0.3-2.5mm/ sec. At the time when the contact pressure of the cylinder 8 reaches 1.5-3kg/cm<2>, the protruded part 3 is melted by an ultrasonic welding machine. When the pressure reached 3-6kg/cm<2>, the falling speed is increased to 4-9mm/ sec to be fallen by 0.2-0.5mm. By this method, the filter paper can be integrat ed with the frame stand. |
