<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operativity of a small-sized plane display device by forming a display means and a movement extent detecting means in one body and detecting th relative movement extent of both means when they are slid on a desk, and controlling the display screen on the basis of movement extent data. CONSTITUTION:A housing 1 is provided with the plane display part and push- button switch group 3, and a movement detector 4 which detects the movement extent of the housing 1 at the time of movement on a desk and an auxiliary roller 5 which allows a stable slide are provided on the bottom surface. When the housing 1 is slid on the desk, the detection part 4 outputs a signal corresponding to the movement extent and a control part 6 displays the position of the housing as a window 11 on the display part 2 with said output signal. Therefore, the window 1 is used to know to which position on a virtual paper surface 10 the housing is moved, and when the housing 1 is further moved, image data displayed in a new window 11' is read out of a memory 7 and the display on the display part 2 is rewritten.</p> |
