PURPOSE:To reduce a waiting time for a customer, and to prevent a processing function from being terminated on the surface, when a paper money feeding or a slip printing is not operated normally in eithr of devices, by discriminating the above state, and continuing a succeeding process with the device on the other side. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 11 in an automatic teller machine (ATM)1 transmits an account number data read from a cash card, or a payment amount data inputted from a key board 16 to a host computer. And at the ATM1, the CPU 11 instructs to pay a cash to paper money ejecting machine 18 corresponding to a result checked by the computer. Corresponding to the above, the ejecting machine 18 ejects the paper money based on an amount to be paid. The CPU 11 discriminates whether the ejection of the paper money by the ejecting machine 18 has been performed normally, and when the feeding of the paper money with the ejecting machine 18, and the printing of the slip with a slip printing machine 19 are not operated normally, a monitoring signal is sent to an ATM2 through a mutual monitoring signal transmission/reception circuit 14, and requests to perform the succeeding process. When the succeeding process is started at the ATM2, a display to guide the customer to the ATM2 is performed on a CRT15. |
