PURPOSE:To extinguish noise components which appear in output signal by reducing transient noises to the degree of complete neglect by loading capacitors at the intermediate points of output gate electrodes. CONSTITUTION:In a charge transfer device which contains charge transfer elements having transfer electrodes provided on a semiconductor substrate of one conductivity type via an insulation film, the output gate electrodes provided likewise via an insulation film, and charge detection devices which detect transfer charges, and is equiped with a means to alternately take out the outputs of charge transfer elements of two systems, a specially provided capacitor COGL at least 100 times or more as large as the capacitor of the total sum of coupling capacitors C<1>4-OG, C<2>4-OG, C<3>4-OG, C<1>2-OG, C<2>C2-OG, and C<3>2-OG is added specially at the center of the output gate electrodes. Where, the symbols C<1>4-OG, C<2>4-OG, and C<3>4-OG represent the coupling capacitors be tween the output gate electrodes and phi4 gates, C<1>2-OG, C<2>2-OG, and C<3>2-OG the cou pling capacitors between the output gate electrodes and phi2 gates, COG represents the capacitor between the output gate electrodes and a substrate, and ROG the resistor of the output gate electrodes. For the purpose of simplification, the constant of distribution is constant. |
