发明名称 PHOTORECEPTOR OF COPYING MACHINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce an amt. of electrostatic charge at the juncture of a photoreceptor, by covering the upper surface of said juncture with a conductive layer, and connecting this conductive layer with that in the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:A belt-shaped photoreceptor 21 is constituted by forming a conductive layer 23 on a resin film 22, and laminating a photosensitive layer 24 on the layer 23, and joining both ends 21a to obtain an endless belt. Another conductive layer 26 is formed on the juncture 25 by vapor deposition or coating. Both conductive layers are electrically connected at the end 26a of the layer 26 to electrically short both faces 24a, 24b of the photosensitive layer 24 at the juncture 25 of the layers 23 and 26. Hence, no charging occurs during the charging step, and destaticization operation is not needed. Since toner does not attach to the juncture 25, cleaning load is reduced, the inside of the machine is not stained, and dielectric breakdown is prevented, and therefore, the durability of the photoreceptor is enhanced.
