PURPOSE:To improve the operability of the titled controlling system, by converting the luminance levels of both basic and composite pictures through the same table and superposing these pictures without impairing the image of the basic picture to attain a collective or a real time process. CONSTITUTION:The red R, green G and blue B of each picture element of a basic picture 112 are converted into an even picture data having the luminance of an even level through an even level modulating part 14. At the same time, the red R, green G and blue B of each picture element of an additional picture 113 are converted into an odd picture data having luminance of an odd level through an odd level modulating part 18. This odd picture data is composed with the even picture data converted through the part 14 and applied to an output conversion table 19. The table 19 is controlled by a control part 110, and the luminance levels of pictures 112 and 113 through the same table. Then these pictures are composed without impairing the image of the piclture 112, and the process is carried out collectively or in real time. Then the data of each picture element is displayed at a display 111. |
