For foundations where there is a risk of the inrush of water, a tub-shaped formwork of the foundation structure is provided. This tub consists of several formwork bodies connected to one another to form a channel or tub and having outer and inner formwork, the outer formwork consisting of L-shaped formwork bodies the horizontal legs of which close off the fill space of the wall formwork towards the ground. The formwork bodies are made of heat-insulating material and are provided with a seat for precast components for building construction, preferably likewise with heat-insulating formwork.
